From the southern French appellation Minervois comes a red blend that brings to the forefront two
varietals that tend to play second fiddle. In the Languedoc-Roussillon region the main varietals in this blend
are Carignan and Mourvedre with a pitch-in from Syrah and Grenache. With plenty of sunshine and warm
weather this wine was able to develop into quite a find.
Soft plum fruit, grape skin tannins, tobacco, black pepper and bright cherry fruit bring an abundance of flavor
and a great mouthfeel.
Pair with skirt steak green peppers & onions, pinto beans with spinach & cheddar cheese or a BLT sandwich.
