This elegant wine is 100% made from Tempranillo grapes that hail from the vineyards in northern Spain and is aged for 14 months in French and American oak casks. The coloring is a beautiful garnet, with some cloudiness giving it the appearance of red brick. The aroma is multi-faceted and builds in layers with bursts of red fruit and spice. Cranberries, cherries, and red currants are alive in the nose and followed by exotic smells of ground pepper and aromatic cloves. The taste reveals similar flavors, with lots of fresh, red fruit and a light earthiness. It is fairly light bodied with a strong acidity that grows to the end, and finishes pleasantly. This wine is superbly balanced and shows its craftmanship. This is a vegan wine.
